Here at Celtics Wire, we have been sorting through the biggest challengers the Celtics will face in the East next season. So far, we have mostly met teams that are either clearly looking to bottom out and tank, or who will likely be forced into that tact down the line. At the No. 11 position in our Eastern Conference power rankings is our first team that doesn’t obviously have aims to throw the 2024-25 season in hopes of a better draft pick. The Detroit Pistons won’t be very good next year, but it does appear they’re sick of losing.
