Prominent ESPN Analyst Claims He’d Get Fired If He Said What He Truly Wanted To About Celtics

Kendrick Perkins, an NBA Champion with the 2008 Boston Celtics, is not happy with his former team on Tuesday night.

In a Game 5 home contest against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Celtics forgot to show up — surrendering a double-digit fourth quarter deficit.

It’s fair to say Perkins isn’t liking what he’s seen from the Celtics so far.

“If I had one wish, it would be for me to be able to the hood version of Perk on ESPN because if I could say what I truly want to say about these Celtics I’d get fired on my day off!” Perkins wrote on Twitter during the game.

If I had one wish, it would be for me to be able to the hood version of Perk on ESPN because if I could say what I truly want to say about these Celtics I’d get fired on my day off!

Perkins is well known for speaking his mind as an NBA analyst for ESPN — but it’s clear he wants to truly speak his mind when it comes to his former team.

The Celtics were strong favorites heading into this Eastern Conference Semifinal series against the Sixers. But if the 76ers can hold onto this late lead, they’ll head back to Philly with a 3-2 leading going into Game 6.

We may never know exactly what Big Perk wants to say — but we certainly have some ideas.
