Who says Brad Stevens can’t have fun?
In his first ever Instagram post, the Celtics coach-turned-executive made his grand debut on social media by sharing a photo of he and his family celebrating the Celtics’ recent NBA championship.
“Fun first post! Go Cs!!!” Stevens captioned the wholesome image.
It didn’t take long for fans to flood his comments.
“We love you Brad Stevens,” a user said.
“I hope you know the impact you have on so many people, god bless Brad,” another replied.
“Thank You For Banner 18 Brad!!!!” a fan commented.
“That’s the real finals MVP [goat emoji].”
“BRAD YOU’VE DONE MIRACLES ON ME. YOU’VE DONE MIRACLES ON ALL OF BOSTON WE LOVE YOU,” another person exclaimed.
The Celtics discarded of the Mavs in five games thanks to a complete team effort on both sides of the ball. Every member of Boston’s starting five contributed greatly to the C’s success and the role players played their part perfectly when called upon.
The Celtics were a team that was doubted throughout the season in spite of their record and they proved a lot of people wrong.
It has to feel especially good for Stevens who’s now seen his team finally get over the hump for the first time since he initially took over as head coach back in 2013.
