Even with all five of their usual starters out along with super sixth man Al Horford taking the night off in anticipation of the 2024 NBA Playoffs, the Boston Celtics had little trouble trouncing the Charlotte Hornets 131-98 at TD Garden this past (April 12) Friday night.
The so-called Stay Ready Crew — Boston’s cadre of reserve players — went off to beat down the Hornets with a career-high 31 points from backup floor general Payton Pritchard. Five Celtics players who usually come off the bench scored in double figures to put Boston at 63 wins for the season with one left on the 2023-24 regular season schedule.
NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House and Brian Scalabrine joined Tom Giles to talk over what they saw in the win on “Celtics Postgame Live”. Check it out below!
