Mike Weinar came running to Rick from the bench. Used a challenge believing Wallace pushed Siakam out of bounds.
It was unsuccessful.
So instead of Siakam going to the line, it’s OKC ball up 1. 22.8s left. – 11:03 PM
Vincent Goodwill @VinceGoodwill
Siakam front-ending both those FT’s means the legs are giving. It takes a lot to mount a comeback – 10:56 PM
Scott Agness @ScottAgness
Haha Siakam pretended to tie his shoe in front of the free throw line to give the bench more time to consider challenging the foul. Haliburton signaled that his arm was held.
Instead, two FTs for SGA (32pts). – 10:52 PM
Vincent Goodwill @VinceGoodwill
Huge triple by SGA right before the buzzer. Siakam hit a corner 3 to bring the deficit to six.
The score stands at 85-76 entering the fourth. SGA with 28. Siakam with 16.
Only 3 turnovers in the third for the Pacers – 10:25 PM
Scott Agness @ScottAgness
Huge momentum 3 from SGA (28pts) to close the 3Q. Instead of a six-point game, OKC’s lead is nine, 85-76. Yet it doesn’t feel close at all.
Both teams shooting above 41% from range. Siakam with 8 of his 16pts in the 3Q.
Just 2TOs by each team. – 10:24 PM
Law Murray @LawMurrayTheNU
Bennedict Mathurin cost the Thunder a challenge. Your reminder that Mathurin, not Siakam or Haliburton, led the Pacers in free throw attempts per game this regular season. – 10:22 PM
Scott Agness @ScottAgness
Three fouls on Ben Sheppard in five minutes.
Carlisle bringing back starters — plus Toppin instead of Siakam, the only starter out there to begin the 2Q. – 9:17 PM
Scott Agness @ScottAgness
Siakam demanding the ball on the block, then takes just his first shot since he opened the game 2/2. He’s constantly looking to take advantage of mismatches. They have to find him. – 9:15 PM

More on this storyline

Dave McMenamin: The Lakers have released the portion of their preseason schedule where they are the designated home team. It includes a game vs. Anthony Davis, (presumably) Cooper Flagg and Dallas in Las Vegas -via Twitter @mcten / June 2, 2025
Todd Whitehead: Most win probability added by clutch shooting during a single postseason, since 1997. According to the incomparable @inpredict -via Twitter @CrumpledJumper / May 29, 2025
Jorge Sierra: Jalen Brunson passed all these players in playoff scoring tonight: Vince Carter George Gervin Anthony Davis George Hill Michael Cooper Don Nelson Paul Millsap He’s No. 110 all-time now. -via Bluesky / May 24, 2025
Haliburton’s shot, which provided a stunning end to an unusually sloppy night for the Pacers, silenced an Oklahoma City crowd that had expected to see a wire-to-wire victory. Pacers center Myles Turner deflected a lob pass on the Thunder’s final possession to seal the improbable win. Haliburton finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists, while Pacers forward Pascal Siakam posted a team-high 19 points, including a clutch basket in the final minute, and 10 rebounds. “We just had to hang in,” Pacers Coach Rick Carlisle said. “The first half was rough. We were within reach. We just said, ‘Hey, keep chipping away at the rock.’ We have a lot of experience in these kinds of games. Our guys have a real good feel for what it’s all about.” -via Washington Post / June 6, 2025
“It’s great,” Green said of Siakam getting back to the biggest stage six years after Toronto’s win (Green himself went five years between going twice for San Antonio and his return with Toronto, then also made it the next year with the Los Angeles Lakers). “A lot of people were, I wouldn’t say doubting him, but they just were so quote/unquote disappointed that he was not becoming the No. 1 option they expected to be when he went to Indiana (in a trade from the Raptors), and for them all to beat the odds. -via Toronto Sun / June 4, 2025
Dustin Dopirak: Pascal Siakam: “We started rocky but we just stayed steady and kept being ourselves and we just kept getting better.” -via Twitter @DustinDopirak / June 4, 2025
Jorge Sierra: Jalen Brunson passed all these players in playoff scoring tonight: Adrian Dantley Jerome Kersey Jrue Holiday Charles Oakley Dick Barnett Rik Smits Dave DeBusschere Michael Finley Shawn Kemp Shawn Marion He’s No. 117 all-time now. -via Bluesky / May 21, 2025
Karl Malone: “I became the professional athlete I am today because of one athlete. He taught me how to be a professional—my mentor, my sensei, my man, Adrian Dantley. Ice your knees. Ice bath. Yes sir, Mr. Dantley—that’s who I wanted to be like.” -via YouTube / April 8, 2025
