NBA World Reacts To Concerning Jaylen Brown Situation

There’s a chance that Jaylen Brown could be spending part of his career with another team soon.

Brown was noncommittal about his future in Boston when he was asked about it by The Ringer.

“I don’t know. As long as I’m needed. It’s not up to me. We’ll see how they feel about me over time and I feel about them over time. Hopefully, whatever it is, it makes sense. But, I will stay where I’m wanted. I will stay where I’m needed and treated correctly,” Brown said.

Brown has been electric for the Celtics so far this season. In 60 games, he’s averaging nearly 27 points, seven rebounds, and three assists per game.

Those numbers have helped the Celtics to a 49-23 overall record, which is good for second in the Eastern Conference.

Boston brought his name up in trade rumors through the offseason and have not really shown they want to keep him long-term.

Brown is likely still not happy with the team after he was mentioned in trade talks this past offseason.

He still has one more season left under contract before he becomes a free agent in 2024.
