Poor Derrick White. The Boston Celtics guard is averaging 25 points per game so far in the playoffs and he’s still getting mocked by the “Inside the NBA” crew.
Well, not the entire “Inside the NBA” team to be exact. Just Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal, who couldn’t stop cracking on White’s hairline during last night’s broadcast.
The comedic duo–who are both bald these days–carried on for two full minutes following the Celtics’ Game 2 win over Atlanta Tuesday, jokingly comparing White’s hair to ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith’s.
Ernie Johnson desperately tried to swing the conversation back to actual basketball, but it didn’t work.

Bad hair, good hair, whatever. White has been a stud so far in the postseason. He’s scored a combined 50 points in Boston’s two wins over the Hawks while shooting 18-of-29 from the field and 6-of-12 from three point range.
White has also grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out nine assists as the Celtics seem well on their way to advancing to the second round.
