Since being selected third overall by the Celtics back in 2016, Jaylen Brown has grown into one of the NBA’s best wings. But is his future in Boston?
In a recent profile by The Ringer, Brown was noncommittal when asked about staying with the C’s long-term.
I don’t know. As long as I’m needed. It’s not up to me. We’ll see how they feel about me over time and I feel about them over time. Hopefully, whatever it is, it makes sense. But I will stay where I’m wanted. I will stay where I’m needed and treated correct.

“Can’t blame Jaylen for this mindset,” tweeted Brett Siegel. “Boston brought his name up in trade rumors through the offseason and have not really shown they want to keep him long-term. I wouldn’t expect him to leave, but I have no problem with his response here.”
