Larry Bird Wants Everyone To ‘Quit Whining’ About LeBron James

Celtics legend and NBA all-time great Larry Bird has had enough of basketball fans complaining about Lakers superstar LeBron James.

During a recent appearance on NBATV, the Hall of Famer gave his thoughts on people who seek to tear the King down.

Saying, “I tell people to quit whining about LeBron. Enjoy him while he’s here. He’s unbelievable. He’s one of the greatest, if not the greatest, players ever.”

Bird is known in the past to be a former player who has no issue giving modern NBA stars their flowers despite his success in a much different era.

Larry Joe was an All-Star in all but one of his 13 NBA seasons when he only appeared in six games in 1988 due to double heel surgery and lingering back issues sustained a few years prior.

The Hall of Famer ended up finishing his career as a three-time champion, three-time MVP and a 10-time first-team All-NBA selection with averages of 24.3 points, 10 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game.

Both Bird and James are easily two of the most accomplished small forwards to ever play the game and each have left their respective marks on the sport.

If fans can’t accept that at this point it’s a them problem.
