Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis spoke at length about his illness after his team lost their second round series to the New York Knicks. Porzingis said that doctors still don’t have a firm handle on what he’s dealing with, but that he thinks getting some rest will do him well.
That rest will have to come immediately, as Porzingis plans to suit up for Latvia later this summer at EuroBasket 2025. Porzingis was unable to play for Latvia last year during Olympic, as he was recovering from ankle surgery.
Latvia is one of the host nations for EuroBasket 2025. They’ll play in a group that includes Serbia, Turkey, Czechia, Estonia and Portugal.
EuroBasket 2025 runs from August 27 through September 14.
