Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jayson Tatum won his first NBA championship this year after leading the team to an NBA Finals win over the Dallas Mavericks. He decided to mark the occasion with some ink – and social media is going crazy over it.
This week Tatum unveiled the new back tattoo that he got of himself kissing the Larry O’Brien Trophy after winning the NBA Finals this past summer. The black-and-white image joins a pretty extensive collection of tattoos that he also has covering his back.
Fans certainly loved how much detail and artistry went into bringing the tattoo to life. Just about everyone is praising the level of artwork that the tattoo artist put into it:
“Cleanest tattoos in the NBA . I need to get my paper straight because I need to get tattooed by Steve Wiebe in my lifetime,” one user remarked.
“Out of all his tats this is prolly the best one Makes sense and not just random famous people and the work looks dope!! Almost makes me wanna get more,” wrote another.
“Ngl if I was in the league and won a chip , I would do it too I think it’s fire tbh,” a third declared.
Tatum and the Celtics have every right to celebrate the way they want after what they did this past year.
