Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum went down in a scary fall during his team’s Game 1 victory over the Orlando Magic. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was called for a flagrant foul on the play. After staying down for a while with a right wrist injury, Tatum stayed in and finished the game. Several times the Celtics star was spotted flexing and rubbing his wrist.
Following the game, Tatum gave Boston fans some good news.
“It’s clean. I’m good,” Tatum said postgame when asked about his wrist.
The Celtics All-Star added, “I just landed on it. It was throbbing for a sec. It kind of went away.”
The Celtics host the Magic for Game 2 in Boston on Wednesday, April 23.
