Jayson Tatum and Donovan Mitchell are in agreement when it comes to their pick for the best player in the NBA.

Both of these All-Star players believe Giannis Antetokounmpo holds the crown as the best player in the league.

“If I had to pick, I think I might say Giannis,” Tatum said in a joint interview with ESPN’s Malika Andrews. “He impacts both sides [of the ball]… We all have off nights. But when he has an off night, it’s 25 [points] and 15 [rebounds] instead of 40 and 20. And he’s won. He’s won a championship.”

“I would say Giannis too for sure,” Mitchell added.

Giannis once again finds himself near the top of the MVP race, averaging 31.8 points and 12.2 rebounds per game. Tatum is up there with him as well, notching 30.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.

Giannis’ Bucks and Tatum’s Celtics are the top 2 contenders to make it out of the East. Mitchell’s Cavaliers are in fourth place behind the Philadelphia 76ers.
