Boston Celtics wing Jaylen Brown met with the media on Saturday ahead of the team’s second-round series against the New York Knicks. A topic of discussion was Brown’s health, after he was questionable for each game of the Celtics first-round series against the Orlando Magic. Brown gave a positive update in terms of where his knee is at ahead of the second-round series.
“I’m trending toward 100%”, Brown said about the bone bruise in his right knee.
Brown added that there was no structural damage in his knee, and that he’s been steadily improving.
“I’m taking it one day at a time. I think I’m starting to turn the curve. Structurally, everything is fine,” Brown said. “I’ve had some other stuff going on, but I think I’m trending in the right direction.”
