Jaylen Brown played with partially torn meniscus

May 17, 2025 by Hoops Hype

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown finished the season with a partially torn right meniscus, sources told ESPN. Brown had been playing in pain during the last month of the regular season and the playoffs, which concluded with Friday’s Game 6 loss to the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals. He will be evaluated this week to determine if surgery is needed, sources said.

Knicks transition defense, team 3-point defense, and Mitchell Robinson closing out while Jaylen Brown thought he had enough time for a dribble spot up in the corner, was the kind of sequence that you get after you get busted for fast break 3s in the previous game. – 8:51 PM
