Ahead of the start of the Boston Celtics first game of the 2023-24 NBA season, Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum was featured in the latest episode of the iconic “This Is SportsCenter” commercial series.

In the new commercial released on Wednesday, Gary Striewski and Peter the Anteater (the UC-Irvine mascot) are sitting in a conference room when the TD Bank Garden announcer starts welcoming in Nicole Briscoe, Steve Levy and Jayson Tatum into the room.

After the three personalities take their seats, Striewski chimes in and says, “Guys, we have this room booked.”

The clip has gone viral with over 600,000 views, 2,500 likes and over 300 reposts with plenty of love in the comments.

“Tatum This Is Sportscenter commercial we really made it,” one user wrote.

“LEGACY CEMENTED,” wrote another.

“Tatum is on that level now and I love it,” a third said.

Jayson Tatum may be coming off four straight All-Star seasons, but how can we truly say he’s “arrived” if he hasn’t been featured on This Is SportsCenter yet?
