The Boston Celtics took care of business Saturday night in South Florida, grabbing a loud 104-84 win over the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the first round of the 2024 NBA playoffs. The Celtics are now back in front with a 2-1 series lead with Game 4 set for Monday night in Miami.
Defense was the star of the show for Boston. The Celtics were more physical and aggressive in containing the Heat, a key adjustment from the much more lax approach we saw in Game 2. In total, four Celtics scored 16 or more points as the guys in green cruised to a commanding victory.
