The Boston Celtics could hold onto Anfernee Simons for the season, according to Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider.
The Celtics are reportedly willing to pay some level of luxury tax after trading Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday over last summer.
Simons is on an expiring deal worth $27.6 million.
Simons is averaging 13.0 points and 2.3 assists in 23.8 minutes for the season.
