Can the Boston Celtics secure Banner 19 next season?

June 29, 2024 by Celtics Wire

The Boston Celtics will head into the 2024-25 NBA season as champions. With the core rotation set in place, they will undoubtedly be aiming to defend their championship. Joe Mazzulla’s team will enter the season as heavy favorites to lift a second straight Larry O’Brien trophy.

However, other teams around the NBA have begun making moves to improve their rosters. The New York Knicks have added Mikal Bridges, while the Oklahoma City Thunder drastically improved their backcourt with the addition of Alex Caruso. As such, Boston will likely face sterner competition if it wishes to repeat its championship success.

In a recent episode of WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show,” the hosts discussed the Celtics chances of repeating their championship success and the potential pitfalls that could await the team.

If your curious what Greg Hill’s take on the Celtics’ chances of Banner 19 is, you can watch the full episode by clicking on the embedded link above.
