Star Boston Celtics big man Kristaps Porzingis addressed the media at a recent Celtics practice, stating that there is no specific target date for his return from injury to his calf, but optimistically noted with a smile that he is “expecting to recover at a historic rate.”
While this does not make his return rate any more evident, it does hint that the seriousness of the injury is far from as bad as it can be. With his soleus injury recovery range anywhere from weeks to months, that it is not considered to be a season-ending injury is promising, to say the least.
CLNS Media’s Bobby Manning and Josue Pavon provided this update from the Auerbach Center following the Celtics’ practice on Saturday. Check it out below!
