The Boston Celtics announced their full roster for the 2021 Las Vegas Summer League via press release on Tuesday afternoon, resumed after a season off due to the one-year layoff due to the pandemic. The Celtics summer league team will carry a total of 10 players kicking off play on Aug. 8, with Boston’s No. 45 pick from the 2021 NBA draft Juhann Begarin notably absent.
The (normally) annual event will feature squads from all 30 NBA teams and take place at MGM resorts with a slightly different format than usual. All teams will play a total of five games, and after all teams play four games, the two teams with the best records from those first four games will meet in the Championship Game on Tuesday, Aug. 17 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. The 28 teams that do not play in the Championship Game will play a fifth game on Aug. 16 or Aug. 17.
Let’s take a look at the full roster by player, position, and last team.
