The caption for the photo above reads:
A fight breaks out between the Boston Bruins and the Minnesota North Stars after the Bruins’ Wayne Cashman was speared by the North Stars’ Dennis Hextall. The Boston Bruins host the Minnesota North Stars in a regular season NHL hockey game at the Boston Garden on March 19, 1972.
I somehow doubt we’ll see anything like that tonight, but who knows? It’s Christmastime, after all.
