NHL Predictions

New York Rangers vs Utah Hockey Club

Head-to-Head: Rangers 0-1 Utah Hockey Club

Time: 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

TV: MSG; ESPN+

We open NHL predictions with the New York Rangers visiting the Utah Hockey Club. Igor Shesterkin is slated to get the start for the Blueshirts. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. New York is 4-4-2 in the last 10 games and coming off an overtime-loss to Colorado the last time out. Artemi Panarin has totaled 17 goals and 27 assists for the Rangers.

Utah has confirmed it will go with Karel Vejmelka as the starter in goal. It was a wild 6-5 win for Utah the first time out at Madison Square Garden earlier in the season. Logan Cooley has been solid as of late with four goals and three assists over the past 10 games for Utah HC.

The Rangers are starting to stabilize and will score the upset against the hosts.

Prediction: Rangers win 4-2.

Edmonton Oilers vs Colorado Avalanche

Head-to-Head: Oilers 1-0 Avalanche

Time: 9:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

TV: ESPN; SN1

Our featured game of NHL predictions has the Oilers taking on the Avalanche. Edmonton is coming off a win last night over the Minnesota Wild and have taken three consecutive games. The Oilers are also 7-2-1 in the last 10 games heading into this matchup. Leon Draisaitl continues to play well with seven goals and six assists over the past 10 games. Stuart Skinner is slated to get the start in between the pipes for Edmonton.

The Avalanche is projected to start Mackenzie Blackwood in goal for this one. Colorado is also 7-2-1 in the last 10 games and is coming off a victory over New York.  Mikko Rantanen has been great all season with 25 goals and 36 assists for the Avalanche. However, Artturi Lehkonen has totaled six goals over the past 10 games.

Colorado will be a bit more-rested and should get the victory at home.

Prediction: Avalanche win 3-2.

Los Angeles Kings vs Vancouver Canucks

Head-to-Head: Kings 0-1 Canucks

Time: 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

TV: SN Pacific; Fan Duel Sports West; ESPN+

We close out NHL predictions with the Los Angeles Kings taking on the Vancouver Canucks. The Kings are slated to go with Darcy Kuemper in the blue paint. Los Angeles is 6-3-1 in the last 10 games, but are coming off two straight losses. Adrian Kempe has logged 20 goals and 19 assists for the Kings.

Vancouver is projected to go with Thatcher Demko in the crease for this game. The Canucks are 3-4-3 in the last 10 games and are dealing with plenty of drama. Brock Boeser has been one of the bright spots during the recent games with five goals and one assist over the past 10 games.

The Kings seem to be the more solid team as of late and should win this Pacific Division battle.

Prediction: Kings win 5-3.
