NHL Predictions

San Jose Sharks vs Winnipeg Jets

Head-to-Head: Sharks 0-2 Jets

Time: 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

TV: Amazon Prime Video (Canada); NBC Sports California; NHL Network

We open NHL predictions with the San Jose Sharks visiting the Winnipeg Jets. Vitek Vanecek is the expected starter for the Sharks, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. San Jose is coming into this game with a 1-8-1 record in the last 10 games. This rough patch also includes five consecutive defeats. William Eklund has been a bright spot this season with 11 goals and 30 assists for the Sharks.

Connor Hellebuyck is the confirmed starter for Winnipeg, which is on a franchise-record nine-game winning streak. The Jets are averaging four goals per game and are only giving up 2.3 goals during this recent 10-game run. American forward Kyle Connor has racked up 30 goals with 40 assists for the Jets.

These two teams are as opposite as you can get. Winnipeg should pick up the victory and get the winning-streak to 10 games.

Prediction: Jets win 5-1.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Los Angeles Kings

Head-to-Head: Kings 1-1 Golden Knights

Time: 10:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time

TV: Fan Duel Sports West; Scripps Vegas; ESPN+

The last and featured game of tonight’s NHL predictions is a Pacific Division matchup. Vegas goes to Los Angeles as the Kings host the Golden Knights at Crypto.com Arena. Adin Hill is the expected starter for the Golden Knights, who are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games. However, Vegas has won its last three games in a row. Pavel Dorofeyev has provided 23 goals and 13 assists for the Golden Knights.

Darcy Kuemper is the projected starter for the Kings, who are 5-3-2 in the last 10 games. Los Angeles did get a victory in its last game on ice. The Kings have struggled in games against their own division as they have a 7-8-1 record in Pacific Division. Anze Kopitar has posted 13 goals and 33 assists for Los Angeles.

This could be a preview of a potential Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup. The winning team in the first two meetings has scored six goals in the previous games. However, Vegas get the victory as it tries to hold off the Edmonton Oilers in the division.

Prediction: Golden Knights win 5-4.

Prop Bets of the Night

We wrap up NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go to our featured game for our preferred prop bets of the night. The over/under for this game is 5.5 and its -110 for both the over and the under. Take the over if you really want to choose something. On the Golden Knights side, go with Jack Eichel to get the over on 1.5 points in this one. For Los Angeles, take Kevin Fiala to score a goal in this game.
