NHL Predictions

Detroit Red Wings vs Boston Bruins

Head-to-Head: Bruins 1-0 Red Wings

Time: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

TV: SN1; SNO; ESPN+; Hulu

We start off NHL predictions with an Original Six matchup between the Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins. Ville Husso is the confirmed starter for a Detroit team that’s 4-4-2 in the last 10 and has dropped two straight games. Lucas Raymond has seven goals and 18 assists so far for the Red Wings.

Jeremy Swayman is the projected starter for the Bruins, but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Boston is 5-4-1 in the last 10 games and trying to steady itself after changing to Joe Sacco is head coach. David Pastrnak has posted nine goals and 14 assists for the Bruins.

Detroit is trying to do its best to stay in the race, but Boston gets the victory.

Prediction: Bruins win 4-2.

Vancouver Canucks vs Minnesota Wild

Time: 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

TV: SN Pacific; Fan Duel Sports North; Fan Duel Sports Wisconsin X; ESPN+

Our second game of NHL predictions has a Western Conference matchup between the Vancouver Canucks versus the Minnesota Wild. Vancouver is slated to go with Kevin Lankinen in between the pipes for the Canucks, who are 6-4 in the last 10 and have won two straight games. Jake DeBrusk has been red-hot with seven goals and four assists over the past 10 games.

Minnesota is slated to go with Filip Gustavsson in this game. The Wild have taken the last three games in a row and are 6-2-2 in the last 10 games. Marco Rossi has totaled seven goals with 12 assists for the Wild. Kirill Kaprizov is continuing strong start with six goals and five assists over the last 10 games.

Both teams could be contenders, but the Wild gets the victory.

Prediction: Wild win 3-2.

Edmonton Oilers vs Vegas Golden Knights

Head-to-Head: Oilers 0-1 Golden Knights

Time: 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST)

TV: ESPN+; Hulu; SN1; SN East; SNO

We close out NHL predictions with the big Pacific Division clash between the Oilers and Golden Knights. Stuart Skinner is the likely starter for Edmonton, which has won three in a row. The Oilers come in with a 7-2-1 mark in the last 10. Leon Draisaitl leads the way for Edmonton 17 goals and 15 assists for the Oilers.

Adin Hill is the prospective starter for the Golden Knights, which are 6-3-1 in the last 10 games. Brett Howden has collected 10 goals with one assist for the Golden Knights. Pavel Dorofeyev has been in form with four goals and two assists over the past 10 games.

Edmonton is coming in with some good mojo, but Vegas is a tough place to play.

Prediction: Golden Knights win 4-3.
