A dual-citizen with size and skill. Not much to say other than welcome!
The Bruins kept their first 2nd round pick of the evening, and selected Center/Winger William Moore from the US National Development Program!
With the 51st pick, the Bruins select C William Moore from the US National Team Development Program.
Viewed as a two-way, cerebral player who will attend Boston College.

Let’s see if EliteProspects Draft Guide agrees with that!
Two years ago, William Moore was among the elite in this draft class. A dynamic centre with skill refinement beyond hisyears, he looked like a strong bet to remain a top player in the coming years. That didn’t quite happen. Though he never took the next step in his two years with the NTDP, top-end potential remains.Moore does a bit of everything, from high-end plays right down to the finest details. In his best games, he manipulates defenders with driving crossover rushes, lands look-off passes, crashes the net, and puts on a down-low clinic withpossession. He drives wide, gets the defender to follow, and then instantly cuts inside for a better look…If he takes the leap in his development, Moore could become a middle-six, perhaps No. 2 centre. More likely, he gradually improves and becomes a well-rounded bottom-six forward who splits time between wing and centre.
Not bad, not bad at all I don’t think. Definitely some room to fill out, and he was ranked 34th by EP, so that’s arguably a steal among all these big kids the GMs have been favoring so far.
Here’s his stats:
Let’s all welcome William to the Black and Gold!
