One more tune-up.
The 2024 preseason finale is just a day away, and with that in mind, the Bruins made three minor roster transactions today.
The team placed goalie Michael DiPietro, forward Vinni Lettieri, and defenseman Jordan Oesterle on waivers Friday afternoon.
If the three clear waivers, they’ll be assigned to the Providence Bruins, who are in the midst of their own training camp.
The waiving of DiPietro leaves the B’s with three goalies in camp: Joonas Korpisalo, Brandon Bussi, and the recently-claimed Jiri Patera.
None of these roster moves is surprising, with all three expected to be AHL (or ‘tweener) players this season.
The Bruins close out the preseason on Saturday afternoon, with a road game against the Washington Capitals.
