For the Manitoba product, it seems he is as of yet to fulfill his true potential. However, this past year, which was of course his contract season, was quite possibly his best yet. It is also likely a sign of things to come. He had career highs of both, 33 goals and 24 assists. His growth this past season for an NHLer of over 300 games of experience was impressive. Furthermore, his average ice time was noteworthy, as the forward was up and around 3 and a 1/2 minutes more than his career average.
Geekie and the Bruins
The 2025-26 season will be his third as a Boston Bruin.
Over the past couple seasons, Geekie has earned ice time with offensive players and on the power play. Even back to 2024, his 17 goals was impressive.
This past season, he played a lot with David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha in what would be considered a top line
It will be interesting to see if he continues to improve his goal total and power-play opportunities. If he can do this and then some, he could really reward the Bruins with the for this contract.
